As and EMT student, you will develop the skills to provide high quality emergency medical care by learning the fundamentals of emergency medical services, anatomy & physiology, and medical terminology, while demonstrating skills in assessing and managing patient care in non-hospital settings. This program meets or exceeds the requirements of the NH Department of safety, Bureau of EMS, and will prepare you for the National Registry of Emergency Technicians' written and practical examination(students can take the exam at 17, but cannot be licensed until they are 18). This program, like Firefighter I, is offered in one semester (spring) for 3.0 hours per day. Personal transportation is required.
